Meet Grace

Grace Harteming is a Handpan Musician, Sound healer and meditation/yoga teacher born in south Brazil. She received children's musicalization in the first 3 years of age by her godparents who were classic musicians and music therapists. By the age of 7, officially started to learn music. With the age of 9 was invited to join the school orquestra as the youngest member. With 14 years old she started to compose her own musics, as writing songs was something very natural to her and much more easier than playing someone else's song. Since then, she played in several bands and orchestras as a multi-instrumentist, both during high school and while studying Social Communication as her first graduation. In the year on 2009, one year before receiving the Science Communication's Master Degree, Grace went through a series of life changing experiences that led her to initiate a spiritual path and start her journey through Yoga, Meditation and Sound Healing trainings, specializing in Kundalini Yoga, Gong bath and Tibetan Singing Bowls, as well as studying Musictherapy academically. The transition culminated in 2014 with the development of the project "Sons Que Curam" in Florianópolis, where she regularly taught Kundalini Yoga classes and meditation workshops for several years. Her events took place in many cities throughout Brazil's southern region (Rio Grande do Sul, Santa Catarina and Paraná) . She also had the privilege of being a teacher in the Transpersonal Psychology Post Graduation Program Izen until the pandemic in 2020.

In 2021 Grace received her first Handpan. But it was only in late 2022, when she was finally ready to fully connect and unleash the magic of this instrument, that her whole journey started. She received a sudden recognition in the Brazilian Handpan Community and was invited by Alexandre Lora and Rafael Ortega (Mudra Handpan) to play in the main Line Up of the Handpan Brasil Festival - held in Atibaia (São Paulo) may 2023. Grace shares her music in intimate sessions, festivals retreats and events of all sorts. She is about to released her firsts two Singles "Emptiness Dancing" and "Path of Least Resistance". Soon, her first album called "Rays of Hope" is going to start being produced.
